Getting here
Use the postcode DL11 6AW to get to the event site then follow signs for parking and camping. Please check the latest traffic and road work information to avoid delays, you know how us Brits love a good traffic jam!

Camping
There are two Camping options at Ard Rock 18, the standard campsite, and the family campsite which you must book in advance. Standard camping is available onsite from 1900 on Thursday 3rd August, and you can stay until Monday morning for a fee of £5 per person per night which is payable on the gate. Please bring the correct amount, as change will be limited and pay when entering the event village. You will be given a ticket that you must display on your car dashboard. The standard camping fields have hot showers that take 3 x £1 coins (don’t forget them) and toilets. Day and night security will be in place at the event, but we must stress that it’s your responsibility to look after your kit and Ard Rock accepts no liability for damaged or lost equipment.

The family camping area is a five-minute walk away from the main event village and is close to the village of Reeth and the Reeth shop. It has indoor toilets, changing and showers, and it’s perfect for families or competitors that want to be a little bit further away from the event village. To book a pitch in the family camping area click here.

Day parking is free for competitors and £10 per car for visitors.

Camping rules and info

Spectators
Spectators are welcome, but it’s worth noting that it’s a big old loop and parking is not permitted anywhere on course. We recommend walking up Fremington Edge to stage one which is a good 20 minute walk uphill, or watching some of stage seven later in the day. Please don’t use vehicles to get up to spectator points as there will be nowhere to park and you will become a hazard. Spectators must stay off the race stages and must take care on public roads and byways.

Food and drink
Eat in the street food area, grab a bite from the fantastic Dales Bike Centre Cafe or visit a local pub. From Pizza’s, Pasta and porridge to posh Coffee, Vegan and Gluten Free options, don’t worry we’ve got all bases covered to make sure you stay fueled up all weekend. The bar is open all weekend and serving everything from Yorkshire’s best beers to Gin and soft drinks for the kids. Food will be available on Thursday evening at Dales Bike Centre, from 10am to 10pm on Friday and from 7am to 10pm on Saturday and 7am to 6pm on Sunday.

Other useful info
Mobile phone signal is generally good but it can drop due to the increased number of people in the area.
Payments to food vendors and stands are made in cash due to limited internet services and the remote location, so please make sure you are prepared. The only way to obtain money whilst at the event is in the Reeth Village post office which is 5 minutes from the event site, but please be warned that this closes at midday on Saturday.

Expo and demos
Please follow this link for a full list of bike brands who are exhibiting and offering demo rides at Ard Rock 18.

Demo bikes and bookings will be available from individual stands from Friday onwards. You must bring valid ID and a bank card to loan a demo bike.

Maxxis Pump Track Championships
The Maxxis pump track Championships will take place on Saturday night at the Ard Rock Enduro Festival. Riders will have the opportunity to qualify for the final by riding 5 laps as fast as they can during the open pump track sessions on Friday and Saturday. The fastest 8 riders on the leaderboard will then go head to head in a knockout competition on a circular track to find the Maxxis pump track Champion! Kids’ and adults’ bikes will be available all weekend for free use on the pump track or timed sessions.
